DC 7 is proud to announce the availability of six (6) college scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,000 for dependents of members in good standing. Applications will be accepted from May 1, 2022 through June 30, 2022. Details are listed below:
This scholarship contest is open to all sons and daughters, including step-children, of District Council 7 members in good standing. Applicants will submit a typewritten, double-spaced essay of between 750 and 1,000 words on a topic chosen by the District Council 7 Scholarship Committee.
The 2022 essay topic is:
“With thousands of workers organizing throughout the country, what would it mean for the United States if more workers were in labor unions?"
